As a large group, we kept her busy, but she attended to all of our needs right away. It was all about keeping us happy every step of the way, and she did that in spades, with her great attitude and sense of humor.
Our accommodations were all excellent, and the cycling was amazing. It was my first time to PEI, and the scenery, people, food etc all made it a wonderful experience. Cynthia King’s Tour Company is the Best Guide and Tour Company you will ever come across!! Great bikes - we especially enjoyed the e bikes!!! From the initial planning stages to the very end of our trip communication was excellent and we enjoyed every moment! Cynthia and her team were always aware of our needs and on top of everything! WONDERFUL TASTE OF PEI
Stacey and Cynthia created a plan for our bike trip that was flexible, scenic, and enjoyable. Our route made good use of the Confederation Trail and local lightly used “country” roads. PEI Cycling was both flexible and accommodating in picking us up at the campground in Cornwall where we left our RV while doing the bike ride. At the end of the ride, they brought us back to the RV campground.
Stacey did a great job of using technology and was able to track us as we wandered across the island. We appreciated her availability to bail us out on a very hot day in the middle of our ride.
I felt like we were able to hit all the high points that we wanted to see while visiting Prince Edward Island. When we chose to or needed to use a paved highway, the other drivers generally gave us a lot of room and did not leave me feeling unsafe while riding.
We brought our own bikes so cannot speak to the quality or comfort of what they supply.
Lodging selected by PEI Cycling was clean, comfortable, and usually air conditioned. We particularly enjoyed the smaller properties with onsite owners.
We generally took their suggestions for lunch and dinner options, but it was nice to have the ability to make other choices on the fly.
I believe we only ran into one small bakery that did not accept electronic payments and we probably only needed about $60 Canadian cash during our weeklong bike ride. -
BEST BIKE TOUR EVER!!
Cynthia designed and coordinated an AMAZING 10 day self-contained tour of Prince Edward Island specifically for my wife and I this past August!
She meticulously planned out each day’s ride to perfectly meet our desires and abilities, and arranged a wide array of accommodations for us at our various destinations. These accommodations ranged from quaint BnB’s to rustic Island cabins, and even several elegant, historic Inns, all of which were marvelous experiences in themselves. Every day, Cynthia had spot-on recommendations for lunch, dinner, as well as advice on craft breweries ( and even a winery!)
Additionally, when one of our own bicycles developed an insurmountable mechanical problem, she immediately dispatched her assistant (the extremely pleasant and personable Stacey!) out to our location with one of her bikes as a replacement that enabled us to continue our excursion without missing a day of cycling. As impressive and reassuring was Cynthia’s daily texts to us to see how we were doing, and to offer whatever help we needed. It was most comforting to know we had her (our Guardian Angel) looking out for us throughout the entire trip.
Due primarily to Cynthia’s extensive pre-planning of every aspect of our trip, and her conscientious concern for our well-being during its conduct, this bicycle trip was the very best we have ever experienced in over 20 years of cycling across America and in several foreign countries! Thank You, Cynthia, for a magnificent experience that we will never forget!!

ENJOYING THE CONFEDERATION TRAIL
Prince Edward Island has a wonderful landscape for leisurely cycling, so it is great to see a very professional operation on the ground for people who value local insider knowledge , quality equipment, cycling expertise, and a love of the natural environment. Cynthia ticks all the boxes, and is a most entertaining guide who has had a very interesting career to date. We only had time for a 25km cycle but can thoroughly recommend both the on Trail and on road experience we had cycling from Morell to the National Park at Greenwich where Cynthia introduced us to the fascinating floating boardwalk.

COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE
We signed up for a 4-day cycling tour with Cynthia, and chose her in part because she is a PEI native and incredibly knowledge about the island, the biking trails, the restaurants and the lodging. She put together a tour for us that was beautiful and easy, on quiet roads or bike trails, and set up our overnights at lovely b&bs and provided terrific recommendations for meals. She even recommended a great local band that happened to be playing in a small town while we were there. She provided all the maps we needed, plus lots of information and advice, transported our luggage and helped us out in one huge rainstorm!!!
Plus, she is a delight in her knowledge, reasonably priced, and fun!
We have taken several self-guided bike tours and we could not recommend her more highly!!

BEAUTIFUL & LUXURIOUS
Cynthia did a great job planning this 6-night, 5-bicycle day trip for us. The hotels we stayed at were all exceptional, different, and interesting. She was flexible, allowing us to shorten our last day in order to spend more time at the beach, and having patience with our idiosyncrasies. The luggage transfer was seamless, and they checked in with us to ensure we were doing OK and headed in the right direction. The route was a combination of the Confederation Trail and roads. The roads were safe enough for bicycling as either the traffic was light, or there was adequate margin on the side of the road. Each day was different, with forests and farmland, rivers, and estuaries on the Trail, and more farms and small towns on the roads. (The Confederation Trail is really a network of trails, not just a single path.) We brought our own eBikes which were very helpful on the rolling hills.

BIKING AND EATING OUR WAY AROUND PEI
My wife and I booked with PEI Cycling Tours for a 6 Day 7 Night Self-Guided tour -- with advice on restaurants. Cynthia’s choices of lodging and routes gave us a wonderful experience on the island. We rode well -- 40 miles a day, max, a pace that allows enjoying the scenery and stops for coffee and lunch. The meals were great (oysters from bay close to the lodging -- each day!), and lodging ranged from friendly B&B’s to grand lodges.
September put us into a quieter time with harvest colors, and the one rainy day coincided with the rest day. Stacey was always checking up on us with a cheerful smile, ready to solve any problems that arose. We strongly recommend this tour service. PEI is a beautiful place to explore by bike.

TED AND MARGIE'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE
My wife searched for a bicycle trip for my 60th birthday and found PEI cycling tours. She signed us up for a 5 day fully supported tour with Cynthia and our adventure began. Cynthia from Prince Edward Island cycling tour set up our entire trip. The trip she designed for use was a mixture or road travel and the Confederation Trail. She handled our B&B reservations and dinner reservations. All we had to do was ride our bicycles and enjoy ourselves. We will do this again in the future.

VERY BEST OF TOURS
We recently returned from the very best cycling tour, tip-to-tip from Cape North to East Point, mostly on the Confederation Trail. Cynthia coordinated our trip through PEI Cycling Tours.
We had state of the art bicycles that performed flawlessly and we enjoyed fantastic scenery and camaraderie along the route. Cynthia booked us into wonderous b&bs and gave us daily recommendations for places to see and where to eat. She even arranged a side trip off the Trail though the Cavendish area and PEI National Park to provide us with the north shore experience and views.
The pace was our own. We had all day to get from one b&b to the next with targets of 50-60km per day so we could do the whole trip in a week.
The Confederation Trail is old rail line right of ways topped with decomposed granite mostly that was very easy to follow and ride on. The cool thing is that there are no big hills!
We wholeheartedly recommend PEI Cycling Tours! Cynthia and her team totally delivered an unforgettable vacation.

Cynthia's knowledge of the island and all of its businesses and establishments was amazing and invaluable (you won't find it in a guide book). From the initial planning, Cynthia and team were amazing to work with, and made everything on our wish list possible. I would send a lengthy email on a Sunday afternoon and they would reply within 20 minutes; that communication continued on our trip with regular check-ins, either via text or in-person.
Our accommodations were great, the restaurant suggestions were wonderful, all the details were looked after by Cynthia, Stacey and Ian. We cannot say enough amazing things about our experience on PEI and that was all thanks to PEI Cycling Tours. - Ashley and John

AMAZING ONE DAY TOUR
It was a rainy day at the beginning but we started with Anne Gable places tour by car to go after to a nice restaurant and then finally start a cycling route at the border of the park of about 20 km. Luckily the weather was fine and at least we did not get any rain. The tour was concluded with a nice walk in the park to reach the dunes on the sea.
Well organised, Cynthia and team are very knowledgeable.
