Cynthia and her staff run a top notch cycling tour business. The routes, bicycles, lodging, meal recommendations, and shuttle services are excellent.

In addition to this competence and professionalism, however, is Cynthia’s personal attention to the needs of her clients. We were long-delayed by Air Canada in reaching Charlottetown to begin our tour, arriving late at night, and she was in constant touch by text message concerned with what our travel situation was. She was even available by phone to help us get into our hotel.

Continuing the Air Canada debacle, the employee union went on strike during our tour, leaving us stranded on PEI. Cynthia worked her extensive local network of contacts and quickly found a local driver who would take us to Bangor ME where we had travel options not involving Air Canada. She handled all the logistics and payments for us, which was certainly above the call of duty for a tour operator. We were very grateful to have a “Mom” looking after us. We can’t praise Cynthia and her staff enough. Very highly recommend.

We booked the tour on-line, very easy, excellent value. Cynthia is a very nice person and customized our trip specific to our needs & desires. She didn't miss a beat. Always communicated frequently and ensured we were safe, dry and well feed. The BnB's she booked are very good. Excellent food, clean and beautiful PEI fare/meals.

There is a reason why the reviews for Cynthia's PEI Cycling Tours are so positive. Cynthia did such a first-class job of organizing this bike tour. As a large group, we kept her busy, but she attended to all of our needs right away. It was all about keeping us happy every step of the way, and she did that in spades, with her great attitude and sense of humor.

Our accommodations were all excellent, and the cycling was amazing. It was my first time to PEI, and the scenery, people, food etc all made it a wonderful experience. Very highly recommend this cycling tour with Cynthia's PEI Cycling Tour! When someone goes the extra mile, as Cynthia did, it's easy to write a review like this.

Cynthia King’s Tour Company is the Best Guide and Tour Company you will ever come across!! Great bikes - we especially enjoyed the e bikes!!! From the initial planning stages to the very end of our trip communication was excellent and we enjoyed every moment! Cynthia and her team were always aware of our needs and on top of everything! We honestly can’t say enough great things about our whole adventure - so much fun!!!!

WONDERFUL TASTE OF PEI

Stacey and Cynthia created a plan for our bike trip that was flexible, scenic, and enjoyable. Our route made good use of the Confederation Trail and local lightly used “country” roads. PEI Cycling was both flexible and accommodating in picking us up at the campground in Cornwall where we left our RV while doing the bike ride. At the end of the ride, they brought us back to the RV campground.

Stacey did a great job of using technology and was able to track us as we wandered across the island. We appreciated her availability to bail us out on a very hot day in the middle of our ride.

I felt like we were able to hit all the high points that we wanted to see while visiting Prince Edward Island. When we chose to or needed to use a paved highway, the other drivers generally gave us a lot of room and did not leave me feeling unsafe while riding.

We brought our own bikes so cannot speak to the quality or comfort of what they supply.

Lodging selected by PEI Cycling was clean, comfortable, and usually air conditioned. We particularly enjoyed the smaller properties with onsite owners.

We generally took their suggestions for lunch and dinner options, but it was nice to have the ability to make other choices on the fly.

I believe we only ran into one small bakery that did not accept electronic payments and we probably only needed about $60 Canadian cash during our weeklong bike ride.

BEST BIKE TOUR EVER!!

Cynthia designed and coordinated an AMAZING 10 day self-contained tour of Prince Edward Island specifically for my wife and I this past August!
She meticulously planned out each day’s ride to perfectly meet our desires and abilities, and arranged a wide array of accommodations for us at our various destinations. These accommodations ranged from quaint BnB’s to rustic Island cabins, and even several elegant, historic Inns, all of which were marvelous experiences in themselves. Every day, Cynthia had spot-on recommendations for lunch, dinner, as well as advice on craft breweries ( and even a winery!)
Additionally, when one of our own bicycles developed an insurmountable mechanical problem, she immediately dispatched her assistant (the extremely pleasant and personable Stacey!) out to our location with one of her bikes as a replacement that enabled us to continue our excursion without missing a day of cycling. As impressive and reassuring was Cynthia’s daily texts to us to see how we were doing, and to offer whatever help we needed. It was most comforting to know we had her (our Guardian Angel) looking out for us throughout the entire trip.
Due primarily to Cynthia’s extensive pre-planning of every aspect of our trip, and her conscientious concern for our well-being during its conduct, this bicycle trip was the very best we have ever experienced in over 20 years of cycling across America and in several foreign countries! Thank You, Cynthia, for a magnificent experience that we will never forget!!
